Tone City Records Festival Returns For 2025

Tone City Records Festival returns for another year to showcase the freshest indie-rock talent at Freo.Social on Saturday, March 29th.

Headlining with acclaimed alt-rockers Middle Kids, the lineup is packed with emerging West Australian acts like Little Guilt, Ghost Care and Devon Street, supported by a DJ set from Pond

More than just a festival in Freo, the night symbolises Tone City’s force in Western Australia’s music scene. Founded by Sam Ford and tucked away in the southwest, the local label has worked with the biggest WA names in music – Abbe May, Pond, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, DICE and Dear Sunday

Termed as the ‘Midnight Zoo’ by DICE, the studio has grown out of love for the local music scene. Dubbed as a creative sanctuary, artists can spend hours on end experimenting and evolving their sound.

Ghost Care have also have also started this year strong with two electrifying singles, LCD being released today. Members of the well-loved psych band Pond will be spinning tracks across the night, breaking up the indie-rock with a DJ set.
