Mere days after announcing her Australian return, Lady Gaga has added an additional Melbourne date to her itinerary.
Gaga’s forthcoming ‘The MAYHEM Ball‘ Australian tour was announced just last week, with a pre-sale launching on Monday, April 14th to massive and widespread demand across the board. With a couple of days still to go before tickets are offered to the general public, the appetite for tickets has now necessitated an additional Melbourne date.
With the tour launching in Melbourne on Friday, December 5th at Marvel Stadium, Aussie Little Monsters will get a second chance to catch her at the same venue the following night. The tour will then continue over to Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on December 9th, before wrapping up at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on December 12th.
The tour is Gaga’s first Australian trek in eleven years, and comes just weeks after the singer dropped new album MAYHEM and teased her first local dates since the 2014 artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour while appearing on Aussie radio.
“I can’t formally announce anything, but I can tell you that I’m going to be announcing… some things,” she said with a laugh.
Gaga added, “I miss my fans there so much. I really do. I have such fond memories of being in Australia. It’s a beautiful place, and I really do want to come back soon.”

Multiple pre-sale options are currently available for the MAYHEM Ball tour.
Mastercard cardholders can access pre-sale tickets to the newly-announced second Melbourne date from 11am local time on Wednesday, 16 April. You can head to the Priceless website for more details on tickets and experiences.
A Live Nation pre-sale to all shows will launch on Wednesday, April 16, with Melbourne tickets available from 11am local time, Sydney from 12pm local time, and Brisbane from 1pm local time. These pre-sales all run for 24 hours. The general sale opens on Thursday, 17 April, via the Live Nation website.
