AC/DC began their North American PWR UP tour on Thursday (10 April), marking their first non-festival US show in nine years and their first performance since August 2024.
The Aussie rockers kicked off the tour at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While AC/DC are on the PWR UP tour—in support of their 2020 album of the same name—they played just two songs from the album, Demon Fire and Shot In The Dark.
Back In Black was the most popular album of the set, represented with five songs: the title track, Have A Drink On Me, Hells Bells, Shoot To Thrill, and You Shook Me All Night Along. The band opened with the Highway To Hell cut, If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It) and closed with the epic For Those About To Rock (We Salute You).
The tour marks the band’s first tour with their new touring line-up: singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney.

Following their six-week North American tour, AC/DC will head to Europe for a 12-date tour.
Earlier this year, a Herald Sun report said AC/DC are “strongly tipped for stadium dates in the last quarter of 2025 as part of their Power Up tour,” according to “tour insiders.” If this is true, the rumoured shows will coincide with the tenth anniversary of the band’s last tour of Australia.
