“It’s looking like it’s going to cost me $3000 to $5000 to play my own show,” he said.
“We’re at 80 or 90 [tickets] but the venue hire for Tanks Art Centre and all the little things they’re charging me for is crazy and I don’t see a cent until we get over 170 tickets,”
“That, combined with driving 2,500 kilometers; it’s looking like we might have to cancel the show. If you’re planning on coming or you’ve been holding off from buying tickets, today or tomorrow is your last chance to buy them and show me we can put this show on, otherwise, I’m so sorry, I think we’re gonna have to do it another time in another way.”
